Jessica Steen

 

Jessica Steen, a Canadian actress, is known for her performances in Captain Power, the Soldiers of the Future and Homefront, Earth 2 and Armageddon. She also appeared in Left Behind: World at War and NCIS Flashpoint.



 



 Personal life



 Jessica Steen was born in Toronto, Ontario, the daughter of Joanna Noyes, an actress, and Jan Steen, a director and actor. She is of Dutch, Scottish and Irish origin.



 



 In addition to her professional life, Steen is an environmentalist and animal rights activist. She is a supporter of David Suzuki, the World Society for the Protection of Animals and the Western Canadian Wilderness Committee, among others. She is a certified diver and has been trained in a variety of circus arts, such as fire-twirling and stilt-walking.
